Mossflower Mulled Cider

2 cups apple cider
3 tablespoons sugar
4 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
pinch ground allspice
2 slices lime or lemon

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cider, sugar, cloves, cinnamon and
allspice and stir together until sugar dissolves.  Continue to heat until
cider reaches a boil.  Take pan off heat, cover, let sit for 10 minutes.
Strain out whole spices and serve warm, garnished with lemon or lime slices.

Commentary: It's mulled cider.  Let it sit 10 min and the sugar starts to
separate out.  Drink it as soon as you can.  We skipped the lemons.
