Treasure Hunt

Purpose:
To teach the concept of linked lists and access via reference

Time needed (estimate): 20-30 minutes

Description:
Develop a small treasure hunt that takes the students through a small part of your campus. Each stop gives them a reference to the next location.

Then explain how the pointers in a linked list are like the set of clues they had, pointing them in the direction of the next node on the list.

Materials needed: a treasure hunt with clues.
