| The B.A. degree permits the student to combine
study of Computer Science with some other field. This is achieved
by the student getting an official minor in that other program,
for example Psychology or History.
Here is more information about the
required minor.
There is not a significant employement difference between students
who get B.S. and B.A. degrees, and virtually every job that is
available to one graduate is available to the other. If the
graduate were more interested in hardware, however, then he/she
would likely attempt to earn the B.S. degree, since it requires
physics and electronics.
Remember that both degrees (both B.S. and B.A.) have the
Computer Science core courses.
